Dylan Tighe’s performance RECORD (REMIX) fuses live music, video and spoken-word and remixes material from across his acclaimed music and theatre project RECORD. This project stems from Dylan’s album of the same name which uses as its starting point his personal history and archive of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. The project aims to re-conceptualize issues of mental health by way of a personal critique of the medicalization of distress.
RECORD (REMIX) is an inspirational gig which points to a new way forward in thinking about existential distress and meditates on the role of music as a force for transformation.
