The Family Care Foundation, founded in 1987, is an alternative to traditional foster care, institutional treatment and psychiatry. The work is based around making use of essential skills obtained from ordinary life combined with therapeutic practises.
Experience and knowledge is conveyed in the daily work and through research, education and taking part in opinion forming and changing of views. The organisation is part of a big international network.
The Family Care Foundation is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organisation.
